Privacy policy
What we collect, what we don't, and how the few things we do use actually work. Last updated July 2026.
The short version
Tamp & Pour is a content site. We do not sell products directly, we do not run accounts, and we do not ask you to log in. We collect very little, and what we do collect is standard web analytics and the information you choose to send us through the contact form.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting web analytics (including Google Analytics) to understand which pages are read and how people find us. This collects aggregate, mostly de-identified information — pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived. We use it to improve the site, not to build a profile of you.
Affiliate links and cookies
When you click a buy button, you are sent to a retailer (usually Amazon) through a redirect on our domain. The retailer may set a cookie so it can attribute the referral to us if you make a purchase. That cookie is set by the retailer under their own privacy policy, not ours. See our affiliate disclosure for how the links work.
The contact form
If you email us or use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you send, and we use them only to reply and to act on what you told us (for example, correcting an error). We do not add you to a marketing list.
What we don't do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not run a newsletter you did not ask for. We do not require an account.
Your choices
You can block cookies in your browser and use browser or extension controls to limit analytics. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or delete personal information we hold about you — email us to make a request.
