Black Friday 2026 falls on November 27 and Cyber Monday on November 30. This page exists now, in September, because the useful question is not “what is on sale” — nothing is yet — but “should I buy this today or wait.” The honest way to answer that is to look at what actually discounted in previous Novembers, by category, and say so plainly.

Three rules govern this page. No invented deals: every price you see below is today’s live Amazon price from the same data layer as the rest of the site, dated, and it will say “check price” rather than show a stale number. No predictions dressed as facts: where we describe past discounts we name the source and the year, and “historically” means exactly that — it is a pattern, not a promise. Updated when it is real: when Black Friday pricing goes live in November, the confirmed deals will be posted on this page with the date they were verified.

The short version, for anyone who does not want to read the tables: Breville espresso machines, Nespresso and Keurig pod brewers, and electric grinders from Baratza, Fellow and DF64 have discounted deeply and reliably in past Black Friday periods — wait for those if you can. Italian prosumer machines (Gaggia, Rancilio), hand grinders, Hario and Chemex brewers and small accessories have moved only modestly or not at all — buy those whenever it suits you.

The table below is built from published 2025 deal coverage (sources listed at the bottom of the page), not from memory or prediction. “Deep” means multiple products in the class were reported at 25% or more off list; “modest” means small or single-product discounts; “rare” means we found little or no reported discounting.

How to tell a real Black Friday deal from a fake one

Check the list price against reality, not the strike-through. Amazon’s “was” price is sometimes a number nobody paid in months. Our pages show the current price and, when Amazon reports it, the list and percentage off — but the useful comparison is against the price you saw in October, which is why this page exists now. Watch for “special edition” SKUs created for the sale, which can differ from the reviewed model. Ignore countdown timers. Most Black Friday prices now run from early November into December; the Cyber Monday price is frequently the same as the Friday price. Prefer the model you researched. A 40% discount on the wrong machine is still the wrong machine — every product on this site carries a “don’t buy this if” line for exactly that reason.

When Black Friday pricing goes live, this page will be updated with the confirmed deals on the products we actually review — each with the date it was verified, the price we saw and a link to the full review — and nothing else. We will not list a deal we have not seen, and we will not list a product we have not covered just because it is cheap. The live price grid above updates daily through the same price feed as every other page on Tamp & Pour, so it will reflect the sale prices automatically as Amazon changes them.

When is Black Friday 2026?
Friday, November 27, 2026 — the day after Thanksgiving. Cyber Monday is November 30, 2026. In recent years most coffee-gear sale pricing has started in early-to-mid November and run through Cyber Monday or later.
Do Breville espresso machines go on sale for Black Friday?
Historically, yes, and reliably. In November 2025 the Barista Express was reported at $499.95–$550 against a $699.95–$750 list, and the Barista Touch Impress at $999.95 against $1,499.95. We cannot promise 2026 will match; we can say the pattern has held for several years.
Does the Gaggia Classic Pro go on sale for Black Friday?
Rarely by much. 2025 coverage noted few Gaggia discounts, with the Classic Evo Pro about $45 off its $499 list. If you want one, waiting has historically saved little.
Should I wait for Black Friday to buy a coffee grinder?
For an electric grinder (Baratza, Fellow, DF64), yes if you can — 20–33% cuts were reported in 2025. For a hand grinder (1Zpresso, Timemore), the reported discounts were around 20% at best, so buy when it suits you. The exception in both cases: if you own an espresso machine and no grinder, buy the grinder now.
Are the prices on this page Black Friday prices?

Is Cyber Monday better than Black Friday for coffee gear?
In recent years the two have been largely the same event, with most coffee-gear pricing held from mid-November through Cyber Monday. Cyber Monday sometimes adds retailer codes for accessories and beans; the big machine and grinder prices have generally not dropped further.
